Headshots for Photographers... What?
"You're gonna have someone else take headshots of you?"
"I would never trust a photographer who couldn't take a picture of themselves."
Those words came directly from my sister Sara Dansby the Co-Executive Producer for Family Feud. And some of you might just be thinking the same thing.
But the real question is do you want to work with a photographer who only sees life from one side of the camera and from their prospective? I know I wouldn't want to. For example I used to joke with my ex's that I would shoot the events and just Photoshop myself in. Needless to say they were never amused. But then I was never happy with the results of the photos that I was in, that someone else took.
People who only look thru the lenses to shoot are only looking at the world from one perspective. They only see what they want to. Granted that may be true of all of us to some degree. This past week I had the pleasure of doing a TFP photoshoot (Time For Prints) with a woman who is talented in many fields. That woman is a #redcarpetphotographer, #celebrityweddingphotographer, #internationalpodcaster, and designs websites for some of the most influential people in the world. That woman is Tatiana Davidov. Over the past few months I have developed a strong friendship with her. And let's just say we've shared both good and bad times together.
I cannot thank Tatiana enough, so I hope this blog post will do justice.
Here are just a few of the photos that she captured from her perspective.
Also I am actively working with photographers and other media professionals to see what we can do in Ukraine.
